We are looking for experienced primary care physicians
Must be Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

Type of position:
This position is full-time Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with shared after-hours office call, no hospital call.

Call:
There are currently 6 other physicians in the call rotation, this position will make 7.
Call is one night per week phone call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m., and every 6th to 7th weekends.
Weeknight volume is low (maybe 3-4 calls on weeknight), no 2 a.m. calls, all calls come early.
Weekend call average can be close to 25 calls over the whole weekend during day time.
Practice has over 1,500 risk members and aprox. 600 non- risk members.

Office information:
Currently at this office are 3 docs, an ARNP, plus this open position. Onsite staff support includes care management, triage nurse, administrator, referral coordinator/lab assistant, receptionist/medical records. Some of these may be dual roles.
Pristine practice with 2 exam rooms per provider and one procedure room.

Stable,seasoned staff. Settled office with strong support structure/team, easy for new physician to adapt.

No weekend or evening office hours.

Patient Mix:
Practice is confined to just 2 insurance products, 80% is Medicare. The patient population is better educated/affluent/easier to deal with. Adult patients only,no Peds. Full risk practice model (some fee for service patients but mostly full risk).

Location:
Clearwater, Florida. Close to one of the best beaches in the nation.
One of the most desirable/livable/safe areas of Tampa Bay area.
Vacation destination as well as retirement destination for people across the US.

Future plans:
Moving to new office 3 blocks away in a few weeks.

2. CLIENT ALSO HIRING IN: Tarpon Springs

Type of position:
This position is full-time Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with shared after-hours office and hospital call.

Call:
There are currently 6 other physicians in the call rotation, this position will make 7.
Call is one night per week rounding on patients.
Weeknight volume is low (maybe 3-4 calls on weeknight), no 2 a.m. calls, all calls come early.
Weekend call average 12-15 total inpatient patients per day to round on Saturday and Sunday.
Can be close to 25 calls over the whole weekend during day time.
Per client: We employ Hospitalists who round on our patients during the weekdays, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Patient mix:
Practice is Humana Gold. Approximately 380 risk members and a small number of non-risk members.
Adult patients only, mostly geriatric. No pediatrics.

Office information:
This is a solo office. The current physician is phasing out of practice, and at this time works 2 days/week. Float physicians cover the rest.
