Established physician passed away unexpectedly.
Client needs a board certified, FL licensed Internist or Family Practitioner in place right away!
Must be able to start within 3 months.
Small rural town- close to Tallahassee and short flight to Atlanta, GA, easy access to Orlando, etc.
Looking for doc who will work in the guidelines of Best Practice- what you do effects the whole team- must want to feel like part of the group Handle your own admissions as hospitalist program is not in place but SHARED call with a group so on call every sixth week. See own patients when they are admitted.
This is a very collegial group per client. Easy to cover for each other. If interested, after established for 6 months can also contract independently with ER group to pick up extra shifts. This is a rural health clinic so targets is 4200 visits per year. See about 20 patients per day … one doc seeing 25 currently Option for a Guaranteed salary but client said better to start with RVU model. They will be flexible on either model. With RVU model can make upwards of $250K ( credit given for admissions)
HPSA score currently a 9 but will be moving up towards 11 shortly (expected)
Relocation package is covered by client Small rural town, people like the fishing, boating, boat access only 17 miles from hospital, inexpensive beach homes, there is symphony and theater nearby etc. Client said 30 minute ride to nearby stellar private schools Could live in Tallahassee and keep apartment in town for call schedule if needed… More details on the practice, money and area available if interested.
